Acclivity, the US distributors of MYOB accounting software, and Sofa, makers of, a Mac-based Point of Sale (POS) system, have announced a new joint venture called Werck BV. The venture promised to expand Checkout’s presence in the Mac software market. Acclivity will distribute Checkout in the U.S. And Canada under the MYOB brand, while Checkout will be sold under the newly formed Werck brand internationally.
